Interesting. Rather boring, static though. A lower perspective, and playing some more with the light would have made it better.

A lower perspective would've made both the shadow and the shadow's reflection flatter/less apparent, wouldn't it? And what exactly do you mean by playing more with the light? Could you please give concrete examples? Thanks for your constructive comment. =)

No, it wouldn't have. You'd still have the shadow, but to be honest, I don't find the shadow and the reflection of it to be strong compositional elements. By playing with the light, no, I can't give you concrete examples. It's something you have to play with, experiment with. Look at different places on the table and see how the glass reacts.
