Artist's Comments
Taken from the Ponte de Prado, about 5 km from Braga, this is a detail of the river bank.
No manipulations other than slight adjustment of saturation. Just upside-down.
That is a very powerful image. Have you really posted it upside down? If so, the reflection is amazingly clear and looks more solid than the real image.

Yes, it's really upside down. I like how still the water was, and how symmetrical the picture is. You can see how the top half (the reflection) is a bit more fuzzy than the bottom half. It makes more sense if you actually look at it upside down. Thanks for the comment.
You're silly. You posted a picture upside-down. I was looking at it before I read your comments and was like... woah...
My art teacher loved reflections, so I painted a good bit of stuff like that (although when I tried to do something without buildings, it didn't work at all...)
I like how in the top half, the buildings and mountains in the background are missing. It almost seems like the serenity of nature reflects into the chaos of life, as the hustle-and-bustle of everyday life is often symbolized in buildings.
I really like this. Good work.

I admit: I have attempted Alchemy by clapping my hands and by drawing an array... unfortunately... all were failed attempts.

No matter how much Jell-O you put in a swimming pool you still can't walk on water
