This is a fairly simple picture; not much going on. Yet I find that that simplicity together with the deep turqoisish colours make this picture calm, almost soothing. Please let me know what you think.

the colour combination along with the light refelcting off of it almost makes it look surreal.

The water looks very nice and inviting. Good idea!

Photographs with just a few fields of different colors and textures can be awesome and I'm guessing that is what you wanted to achive with the pictures. However... ;) The reflections are a bit distracting. Both the reflections in the water and on the small wet areas on the stones. And the little dark area in the lower right is also distracting.

Thanks for your comment. =) I kinda thought that those things you mention add to the picture, that they make it a little bit more interesting and that they break the otherwise boring scene, but maybe you're right.

It's all just subjective opinions in the end. If you like pictures with reflections you should take pictures with reflections. :)

Yes, it's nice, with the sunlight reflecting off the surface and the colours of the water. Beautiful!
